The XX Anniversary of Plaza Ambarrukmo, celebrated on March 5, 2026, marks a special milestone that blends the noble values of Indonesian culture, the spirit of togetherness, and a vision for the future through a series of events held throughout early March 2026.

20-Hour Non-Stop Wayang Kulit Performance
Date: March 4 – 5, 2026
The celebration begins with a masterpiece of Indonesian cultural heritage through a 20-Hour Non-Stop Wayang Kulit (Javanese Shadow Puppet) performance at the Roof Space of Plaza Ambarrukmo, starting March 4, 2026 at 14:00 WIB until March 5, 2026 at 10:00 WIB.
This extraordinary cultural showcase will feature 20 puppet masters (dalang), 20 traditional singers (sinden), and 20 meaningful wayang stories performed continuously for 20 hours.
This national-scale cultural event has also been submitted for MURI (Indonesian World Records Museum) recognition under the title:
“The Longest Non-Stop Wayang Kulit Performance Held in a Shopping Center.”
Grebeg 5,306 Gunungan Legomoro – Largest Legomoro Serving
Date: March 5, 2026
The celebration continues at Alun-Alun Ambarrukmo at 16:00 WIB with Grebeg 5,306 – Gunungan Legomoro, accompanied by a Kirab Bergodo (traditional Javanese cultural procession).
The number 5,306 represents the historic founding date of Plaza Ambarrukmo, March 5, 2006, symbolizing two decades of growth and togetherness with the community.
This traditional Javanese cultural procession carries deep meanings of gratitude, unity, and life philosophy. The massive serving of Legomoro, a traditional culinary delicacy, has also been submitted for MURI record recognition under the title:
“The Largest Serving of Legomoro.”
Special Performance – Idgitaf
The Swarnacitta Night Celebration will be further enlivened by a special performance from Idgitaf at 20:00 WIB, presenting emotional and meaningful musical harmonies in the radiant atmosphere of Plaza Ambarrukmo’s 20th anniversary celebration.
500 Balloon Drop Celebration
The anniversary celebration will become even more festive with the 500 Balloon Drop Celebration at the Main Atrium at 21:00 WIB.
A total of 500 balloons will be released simultaneously, each containing exciting prizes such as:

Modest Style Runway
Date: March 6 & 7, 2026
Held at the Main Atrium of Plaza Ambarrukmo, the Modest Style Runway will serve as a prestigious modest fashion stage in collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC).
This fashion showcase blends culture, elegance, and modernity as a celebration of style reflecting contemporary aesthetics and identity.
The runway show will take place at 16:00 WIB and 19:00 WIB, featuring around 50 designers and Plaza Ambarrukmo tenants, including national guest designers Sinta Masson and Tika Ramlan.
Special Performance – Ali Kribo
Date: March 7 & 14, 2026
Renowned darbuka maestro Ali Kribo will present a special performance featuring mesmerizing Middle Eastern rhythms, creating a night filled with powerful cultural beats and the grandeur of Swarnacitta starting at 21:00 WIB.
Late Night Salebration – Hourly Shopping Surprise
Enjoy the Late Night Salebration program with discounts of up to 50% OFF at selected tenants from 10:00–23:00 WIB.
