Yogyakarta, March 10, 2026 – In the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan, the management of Plaza Ambarrukmo organized an Iftar Gathering with Residents of Four Padukuhan on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM (WIB) at the Pendopo Agung Ambarrukmo. The event served as a moment of fellowship between the management of Plaza Ambarrukmo and residents from four nearby padukuhan who have long been an important part of the mall’s journey and development.
The event was attended by several community leaders and government representatives, including Mr. Aminudin Azis (Carik of Caturtunggal), Mr. Istachori (Commander of the Depok Barat Military District), Mr. Abdul Jalil, Subilal (Chief of Depok Barat Police Sector), and Mr. Bambang Sujatno (Head of the AKN Team). Also present were the heads of the four padukuhan surrounding the Ambarrukmo area: Mr. Hendi Kurniawan (Head of Ambarrukmo Padukuhan), Mr. H. Pujp Wiratno (Head of Gowok Padukuhan), Mr. Sulisty Eko Narmono (Head of Nologaten Padukuhan), and Mr. Masijan (Head of Tempel Padukuhan).
The event began with a Ramadan sermon delivered by Mr. H. Musthofa, who emphasized the theme: “Ramadan is not merely about refraining from hunger, but about nurturing love for Allah and for one another.” The message encouraged attendees to view Ramadan as a moment to strengthen faith, compassion, and unity within the community.
The warm atmosphere was further enlivened by a religious musical performance from NWS Gambus, who performed a selection of Islamic-themed songs. On this occasion, the management of Plaza Ambarrukmo also presented tokens of appreciation to representatives of the four padukuhan as a gesture of gratitude and care for the surrounding community.
The event concluded with a communal iftar, symbolizing the strong bond and harmonious relationship between the management of Plaza Ambarrukmo and the local community.
