Rotiboy Bakeshoppe Sdn Bhd (doing business as Rotiboy) is a Malaysian bakery company founded in April 1998 in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia. Rotiboy was founded by Hiro Tan, a former lecturer in economics who then decided to open his own bakery business by offering shell-shaped, crispy-skinned bread with a distinctive buttery taste. The company now has more than 100 branches in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and plans to enter the Chinese market.
